FB no longer a drum & bugle corps
Jan 27, 2010

The Federatieband is abandoning the idea of being a drum & bugle corps. The corps is once again positioning itself as a 'corps style marching band', a style in which FB was conducted up until a few years ago. There will be no shows in the near future.

The American style remains. Modern music by American composers and a US-oriented march style is chosen. The repertoire can be compared to the style that the Federatieband adopted around the new millennium.

FB does not currently focus on shows. This allows the corps' rehearsal time to be limited to Fridays only. "It is possible that the FB will do shows again in the future, but this will certainly not be any time soon", the club announces.
