Kidsgrove Scouts have started their USA tour
Aug 22, 2012

The Kidsgrove Scouts have started their USA tour. In the weeks to come, the reigning British drum champions will participate in the Drum Corps Associates competition, including the DCA Championships.

This is the second time in three years that the Kidsgrove Scouts are participating in DCA. They made their first crossing in 2010 and the corps came sixth in the Open Class. The audience responded enthusiastically to the Europeans' achievement at the time.

The first contest on the programme in America is Bridgeport on Saturday. Then there is the contest in Pennsauken the next day. The DCA World Championships are scheduled for the first weekend of September.

The fans back home can watch the corps at work during the DCA Championships through the DCA Fan Network.
