Marching Vikings make it two in a row
Aug 13, 2012

The second show of the IMBA 2012 season took place in Ballygar, Galway on Sunday 5th August where the victory was taken by the Tallaght Youth Band Marching Vikings. The Dublin corps obtained a score of 57.65 points.

Second place was taken by the Clonmel Bluehawks with 56.45 points. It was two out of two for the Vikings who also took the first show of the season in their home town of Tallaght, Dublin on 7th July 2012. This has been the Vikings most successful start to a season having not won 2 competitions in a row or managed to beat the Bluehawks since 2006.

Currently sitting in 11th place in the DCE League Table, the Vikings hope to keep up the momentum for the remainder of the Irish season, concluding with the corps' first visit to DCE Championships this coming September.
