Marum to travel Asia in the next two years
Oct 19, 2009

Showband Marum plans to travel to Asia within the next two years. The show band wants to look beyond Europe, and is also considering performing in other continents.

"Performances of Showband Marum should not be limited to Europe", explains Chairman Piet van Houten. "Our name is already known here. The time has come to expand to other continents. This is obviously a great experience for our members." And the showband from the north of The Netherlands has greater ambitions. They are aiming to acquire a building for their club, attract top instructors and consultants from the United States, and participate in various drum corps competitions.

Marum has continued to develop in recent years and wants to continue this process. As a result of this, their members do not only come from the surrounding area, but also travel from further afield to come to rehearsals.
