Survey: audience pleased with DCE Championships
Nov 13, 2009

Visitors are very pleased with the progress of the European DCE Championships in Kerkrade, as shown by a public survey. This was completed by over 200 people, who assess the European Championship with a grade of 8.7 out of 10.

This is the second consecutive year that DCE has asked the viewers to fill out a survey. The results are considered by Drum Corps Europe in order to evaluate the event. Naturally, they are satisfied with the positive reactions. Over 70 percent of the visitors have stated that they will definitely come back next year. If the event is held in the Parkstad Limburg Stadium again, that percentage increases to 84 percent.

The reactions have also generated suggestions for improvement, including criticisms of catering and the way in which the Olympic Retreat was run. "It is nice that so many people have taken the time to fill out the survey", says DCE board member Hans Wansink. "This gives us a good picture of the positive and negative experiences of visitors, so that we can continue to improve the event."
