Symposium Session: Music Kids
Jan 26, 2010

Lots of new members; which corps has not dreamed of that? Ten years ago, Ronald Wassink launched a revolutionary idea for his corps Jubal: Music Kids. After all these years, it is still very successful. At the European Drum Corps Symposium, he will share his idea with others.

Entire meetings are spent talking about youth clubs and recruiting new members, and reports can be filled with ideas, but sometimes you just have to do something. Ten years ago, Ronald Wassink did this for Jong Jubal, Jubal's feeder corps. With just 18 members, the junior corps was in need of new members. But then Wassink came up with the concept of Music Kids, and this proved to be a real hit. Many other corps followed suit.

Wassink will share his idea and his Music Kids' knowledge at the symposium this Saturday. European corps will have the opportunity to discover 'the secret recipe' so that they can apply the idea themselves and become equally successful.

Has your corps not yet registered for the symposium? Registration will close Wednesday!
