The Cadets2 in fourth place at DCA
Jul 21, 2012

The Cadets2, the youngest corps of the Youth Education in the Arts, has made its debut in the Drum Corps Associates competition. The corps came fourth at the DCA contest in Clifton on Sunday.

The Cadets2 is meant for people who, for one reason or another, can't march with The Cadets, either due to the high costs or a lack of time. Cadets2 will require less time from its members, but otherwise its approach doesn't differ much from the DCI corps.

In Clifton, The Cadets2 scored 73.25 points (of which 0.8 points in penalties), which put them in fourth place. The DCA top three, consisting of the Buccaneers, Caballeros and Hurricanes, were still well in the lead of The Cadets2 with 85.35, 80.10 and 79.20 points respectively.
