Millennium Drum & Bugle Corps, which will be participating in the DCE European Championships this summer after four years of absence, will have an Italian show theme. The corps has based its show on Giacomo Casanova.

The famous adventurer and womaniser Casanova is both the theme and the title of Millennium’s production. The show is not only about the life of Casanova, but also his links with Venice, and his imprisonment and escape after the Inquisition in Venice accused him of possessing occult books.

The atmosphere of the romantic city of Venice will also be conveyed by the programme. This allows Millenium to bring Italy to the contest fields. The music will be written by composer Stefano Sacchi, who has written music for orchestras such as the Hollywood Studio Symphony, the Brandenburg State Orchestra and the Budapest Scoring Symphonic Orchestra.
